It is a mid-size crossover SUV that is manufactured by an automotive company called Mazda. It was founded by Jujiro Matsuda. Its name Mazda originated from “Ahura Mazda” meaning (god of light); this was given to it with the belief that it will brighten up the image of its compact past and present compact SUVs.

Its headquarter is located in Fuchū, Aki, Hiroshima in Japan, its assembly plant is located at Ujina plant, Hiroshima; Japan.

This Mazda CX-9 although built in Japan but was never sold on their market because it had exceeded its threshold and the Japanese dimension regulations.

Its first generation was built between the year(2006-2015) and was designed by Kaname Sawai in the year (2004).

The 2010 model received a face-lift that consisted of a new front fascia, Bluetooth connectivity, and a standard hand free interface; likewise its 2013 model. The 2013 model also received a face-lift and had some of its features refined to its user’s taste. The new features include: a new grille, LED headlights and redesigned front vents.

Its second generation was built in 2016-present day.

Its models ranges from 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016-2019 models.

The 2019 Mazda CX-9 model is one of the most fun to drive in the lineup of SUVs. It was ranked the top #3 with a score of 8.4 out of 10 score rating. It was able to win this due to its unique features. The model comes with an Apple Carplay™, an Android Auto, an improved suspension, a Quality ride, and an added sound-deadening insulation.

Its most sold vehicles were the 2017 and 2018 models.

Based on customer reviews, the 2016 model had the worst recall so far among other models, followed by 2018, 2017 and lastly with 2019 just having one problem which is the exterior accessories problems. The recalls in detail are as follows:
