Mazda Tribute is a division of Mazda Motor Corporation, an automobile manufacturing company located in Japan. It compact SUV that was jointly developed with Ford motor company which was initially manufactured in 2000. It is available as front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive options. Available models comprise of the first generation (2000–2007) and second-generation (2007–2011). It is assembled in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and the United States of America to mention a few. Although the Tribute and Ford Escape were launched at the same time in the year 2000. The exception between the Tribute and the Ford Escape is suspension. The Tribute served well as a predecessor to the elegantly styled Mazda CX-5 model.
