Mazda 3 is a division of Mazda Motor Corporation, an automobile manufacturing company located in Japan; also referred to as “Mazda Axela” meaning “accelerate” and “excellent. It is advertised as Mazda3 MPS in (Europe), Mazdaspeed Axela (Japan) and the Mazdaspeed3 in North America. A compact car that was first manufactured in 2003 (2004 model), to supersede the C- segment (Familia/323/Protegé). Available models comprise of the following: First generation (BK; 2003–2009), Second generation (BL; 2009–2013), Third generation (BM, BN; 2013–2018) and Fourth generation (BP; 2019–present). Over time, the Japanese brand has featured several car designers like Hasip Girgin (2001), Kunihiko Kurisu (2006) and Koichi Tabata (2011).
The 2019 Mazda3 cutting edge tech introduces the fuel efficient i-Activ AWD. A winner of the AJAC 2017 Best New Innovation Technology Award, it exists as both hatchback and sedan. Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatible, it showcases an 8.8 inch infotainment system, Bose speakers and advanced safety features.
